I was born and, for the most part, raised in rural Nevada. In addition to Nevada, I spent a few childhood years in semi-rural New Mexico and Bay Area Suburbia, CA. After a stint down in Australia I have spent the last decade or so here in Vegas.

I graduated high school in '92 and began my higher education at UNLV (University Nevada Las Vegas). In 2000 I graduated with a BS in Management Information Systems. Eight years may seem like a long time to earn a four year degree. It is. In my defense, a couple of years were spent (not going to school) in Australia. When I did restart my schooling I eventually started working full time. A lot of folks are able to juggle a full time job and a full class load just fine. I am not one of those people. To be honest It.s amazing that I graduated at all.

Currently, I am working at a small ISP-like company. I work with web applications . mainly programming with PHP and MySQL. I enjoy my work . I have a lot of freedom and little stress. On the down side, those pros are balanced out by my salary.

I'm a big fan of computer games (not to be confused with consol games). I usually spend my evenings at my computer winding down with the latest FPS, RTS, RPG or whatever.
